Friend or foe?

Tonight WH was reading through an Old Testament account of Israel fighting the Philistines. He came to this verse and read:

31
Now they had driven back the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon. So the people were very faint.

And Coop says, "Wait a minute. I thought they were the bad guys. Why was Jonathan giving them a ride in his car?"

WH tried hard to honor Coop by giving him that "What a great question, son" look, but I had to leave the table I was laughing so hard. I'm giggling again as I type it.
I just love the way these kids think.

Cute :)

When Robb reads the bible after dinner at the table, he always asks the kids what they think it means. No matter the verse, Ryan always says with the most serious look on his face "It means to share".

Too Funny! Good for him for listening close enough to pick that up.

i LOVE the confusion that arises from the english language + time. Every week when we do our spelling words, invariably they guess at a meaning that is COMPLETELY wacky.

Oh yeah, and have you ever seen this word?: "multiparous" (pronounced mull-TI-pair-us) It was in our spelling words this week. NEVER seen it before. Turns out that if you have a multiparous pregnancy, you are carrying more than one child....

Funny, your blog doesn't know what they word is either, it thinks I'm spelling something wrong.
