If you know me well you know I've been talking about getting rid of all my toxic cleaners for...years. I saw
this post from a friend yesterday, and determined to follow her good example and take the plunge. She has several recipes posted on the blog so you could get started right away. I'm off to the store to restock my cleaning cabinet. If anyone has other natural cleaning solutions or recommendations, I'd love to hear about them.

vinegar. naturally antibacterial. you probably already know this and read this on your friend's blog. i probably should have read it before i posted this comment. but, whatever...vinegar is the BEST multi-purpose cleaning agent, i think. i even use it in the washing maching for the rinse cycle to get rid of any residue from detergent. it's also a natural fabric softener, so i NEVER use dryer sheets because of my vinegar in the rinse. i love it. i cannot ever have enough vinegar in the house! :)
That's good news, because of all the supplies on the list, vinegar is the only thing I came home with. I must have been looking in the wrong section, because I couldn't find anything at Target or Wal-mart. I'm going to try my local small-town grocery store next.
