find of the day
It seems as if this fair city has a good number of decent Goodwills. (If they were crummy we always called them Badwills growing up. Ahh, poor family jokes.) This lovely lamp now resides in my new home, and I'm only $2 poorer. I think I'm going to use it as an inspiration to add more yellow to my living room. A whole room centered around a $2 lamp. Maybe next time I post a picture I will be more free to include the rest of the room, but for now it's still resembles a war zone. Although I'm thinking most war zones don't have cheery yellow lamps.

Love the lamp, love the yellow, love the price, love YOU! :)
MOM
Great find! It's so satisfying to find something so great for so cheap. Sometimes I think of all those hours Mom dragged us around Community Thrift in Orlando + wonder if I'm going to do the same thing to my own children... a kid can only look at big baggies of Happy Meal toys for so long.
OH Brite! This is FABULOUS! I love it when God blesses us with sweet blessings like this. Man, I am so motivated to go to a Goodwill right now. *scheming*
beautiful! and just as bright as brite...
Love the yellow. It's a color that always makes me happy...although, yellow walls, unless creamy, aren't for me. Yellow highlights, like my hair?, are just the thing!
Pretty lamp. And the Badwill thing is too funny.
I can tell you what color to paint the walls! (think my kitchen... which I still miss).
your badwill joke was about as funny as that joke that I just made. so now we're even.
