Homemade Lara Bars and a Groupon for sale

Hello friends!

Long time no entry.

For weeks I've been excited about passing along this recipe for Lara Bars, because who doesn't LOVE Lara Bars? A friend of mine sent this to me, and we tried it out a few weeks ago as a Sunday treat. I even did a taste test, and the homemade bars won against the packaged variety, but I guess that's no huge surprise since the winners were fresh. Camilla, at Enlightened Cooking has tons of variations so the sky's the limit! We started with the chocolate variety (of course) but I plan to branch out to some fruity versions soon.

Which brings me to my second point. Last week I purchased two Groupon deals for two $25 gift certificate to Nutty Guys, which sells all sorts of nuts, dried fruit, nut flours and butters, candy, and granola. My plan was to stock up on fruits and nuts so I could make a pantry full of Lara Bars. When I read the fine print, I realized only one Groupon could be used per account. So, is anyone interested in purchasing a $25 Nutty Guys gc for $10?  I love Groupon- I've snagged many great deals through that site! If you are interested in the gc just leave a comment and let me know.

Enjoy the Lara Bars! I wish I had taken a picture of ours, but I'm afraid they disappeared before I could snap a shot.
